Firehole Outdoors is family owned by Deb and Joe Mathis near Kalispell, Montana. The company is known for their barbless competition style fly tying hooks and tungsten beads. Joe designs everything they sell. Some of their hooks are so unique, he has applied for a patent.

Joe and Deb refer to their hooks as “Sticks” and their beads as “Stones”. Firehole hooks are strong and sharp. They are unique in many ways. They are designed to hook and hold trout. The beads are available in four plated colors and many painted colors. Joe tested hundreds of color options to make the perfect matte finish that is hard and refractive.

Firehole Outdoors products come highly recommended by competition fly fishing anglers and they will certainly give you pleasure and pride, to tie your perfect flies too.
