The Behemoth is die cast from aluminum. Due to it’s design, it can’t be machined. Redington calls it “unmachinable”. The frame and spool interlock as well or better than a machined premium reel. The “wedge shaped” arbor, not only contributes to the fact that it is unmachinable, but it also speeds the retrieve and reduces line memory.

The drag is an adjustable carbon fiber disc, with an oversized knob, which makes this reel behave like one costing hundreds of dollars more.

The Behemoth easily converts from right to left hand retrieve.

A nylon reel case and Lifetime Warranty are included. Redington is a fly fishing company owned by Far Bank, who also own Sage and Rio.
