The Renzetti HT511 R-Evolution Medium Hair Packer is intended for fly tyers who spin hair on medium sized hooks in the #10 to #6 range. Renzetti makes a larger and a smaller packer than this one. They are all the same length, but the cupped face and hole size are different in each model.

At 3 ½ inches long and made from stainless steel, this packer gives you the power to use your whole hand and palm, to pack your deer hair tight. Some packers only allow you to use your fingers. The end result from using this packer, is density on your flies, something all fly tyers desire. The smooth edges on this packer lessen the likelihood of cutting your thread.
