Renzetti Master Vise with SW Black Powder Coated Base M6004 | Free Ground Shipping

Starting At:
$699.99

The Renzetti Master fly tying vise is probably the finest fly tying tool you can buy. This version of the Master vise is exactly what I own and use. I love it. Words or photographs cannot describe or portray the craftsmanship, achieved at the Renzetti plant in Titusville, Florida. The silky smooth movement must be felt in you’re your hands and enjoyed in your mind.

Renzetti Master vises are not inexpensive, as you can see. I considered my purchase in the late 90’s as a lifetime investment, much like you would consider a fine fly rod or reel. I love fly tying and this vise is something I enjoy regularly.

The base of the Master M6004 is large and heavy. It won’t move when you apply heavy pressure while tying. The head spins smoothly on ball bearings.

This is a true rotary vise, with many adjustments you will not find on most vises. For instance, the head angle is adjustable. You can adjust the rotary tension at the back of the head or by using the tension knob near the stem.

One remarkable standard feature is the “hide away” material clip near the jaws. If you don’t want to use it at times, just fold it out of the way.

A bobbin cradle support is standard equipment.

You can order a clamp and a stem extension, to use this vise as a clamp model. Just call us and I will order one for you. I did that myself, because one of the places I tie in my office at home, works best for me clamped to the desk with an adapter to hold it over my lap. Other times, I use the pedestal. Most people buy pedestal base vises. Very few buy the clamp versions.

This is a wonderful fly tying vise that you will enjoy for years, just like I have. Consider it an investment, like I did.
