Renzetti Presentation 2000 Series fly tying vises are a huge step up from the Traveler, featuring a ratchet rotary actuator and an adjustable hinge stem, that allows you to tilt the vise head up or down. There are two angle adjustments to raise or lower the head for your particular needs. One adjustment changes the angle of the complete head assembly. The other adjustment, changes the angle of the front of the head, for precise hook alignment, no matter the size, for true rotary tying.
The Renzetti Presentation P2004 also has two tension or friction adjustments. One, near the handle, allows you to adjust the tension to the tightness you prefer, at all times, while tying. The second adjustment adds more tension or holds the head in an inverted or semi-inverted position, for working on a particular side of the fly. Loosen this knob, and the head will turn freely again.
Like a Traveler, this vise holds hook sizes #28 to 4/0 tightly, utilizing Renzetti’s cam tightened jaws. The P2004-R is a true rotary vise, invented by Andy Renzetti.
A Renzetti Bobin Cradle is included.
