Scott G Series Fly Rods

Starting At:
$895.00

Scott unveiled the G Series fly rods to the fly fishing world in 1976 and the rod became an icon. The G Series Rods featured hollow internal ferrules, which are expensive to make, but form a perfect connection, with almost seamless transition of power in multi-piece fly rods. Scott G Series fly rods have always been coveted by trout anglers, as a true to the core trout rod. What can I say? I own two old Scott G Series fly rods. I love the action, I understood when I bought them, they were special, and they still are.

What Scott introduces now in the G Series, is improved with new technology materials and craftsmanship. The internal ferrules are now more flexible and they are 20% lighter. The newest carbon fiber and resins make this fly rod even better, they track better, they are more accurate. They still have that iconic G Series medium-action, but the rod blank is more stable. They still bend deeply, but without the wobble of the older technology G Series fly rods. The newly reinvented G Series creates greater line speeds, while still retaining the classic flex they had before.

These fly rods are already popular. Anglers love them. The legacy lives on in a better form. The perfect trout rod is now perfected further.
