The Lamson Speedster is in a class of its own as a reel with a super high retrieve rate. Lamson calls the Speedster a "Super Arbor", making it perfect for aggressive fishing situations where taking up line quickly is a priority. To achieve this goal, Waterworks Lamson designed the Speedster narrower, with a larger diameter, while keeping the reel very light. Like all Waterworks Lamson fly reels, the Speedster is meticulously machined from aluminum and stainless steel and is tough as nails.
