Scott has been making fine fly rods since 1973. The company was founded by Harry Wilson. The company was named after Harry’s son, Scott. The first shop was located in San Francisco. Harry then moved it to a larger shop in Berkley, California, then to Telluride, Colorado. Scott Fly Rods are now made in Montrose, Colorado. It all started in Harry Wilson’s basement. Scott has become a rod company known across the globe, for handcrafting exceptional fly rods.
