The Orvis Hydros II Euro fly fishing reel is a fully caged euro nymphing machine built to perfectly balance 10-11 foot rods, and put the brakes on big fish. Orvis took their Hydros II and added a fully caged frame, then engineered the spool-frame fit to tighter tolerances, making sure that your mono-rig, leader or euro line never escapes the spool. The Hydros drag system boasts zero startup inertia and features stacked carbon/stainless steel disc washers backed up by an enhanced sealing system to protect the clutch bearing in the drag mechanism. Hydros II Euro reels are built slightly heavier than the original Hydros II, allowing you to balance out longer fly rods.
