The Scientific Anglers Frequency Trout Is ideal for fly fishermen looking for a trout fly line at a very low price. This fly line has a versatile, mid-length head that is designed for general dry fly and nymph fly fishing. This is not considered a great streamer line, but you can shorten your leader and make it work for you, when casting short using lighter weight streamers.

The Frequency Trout is not a $100 fly line and it does not have all of Scientific Angler’s new technology. But, if you are on a budget, or fishing in areas where a super high performance fly line is not required, this one may be for you.

This fly line does feature AST Advance Shooting Technology and a welded loop on the tip.
