The Adams Female is more often than not referred to as the Female Adams. It is tied identical to the Adams with the exception of a yellow egg sac added to the body just in front of the tail. Many anglers believe trout key in on the egg sac. There is no doubt this fly is an excellent pattern to use for trout, just about anywhere you fish for them.
