Aunt Lydia's Sparkle Yarn

Starting At:
$2.25

Aunt Lydia’s Sparkle Yarn has been used for decades by fly tyers, though it was originally made for rugs. This is a 3 strand acrylic yarn that is great for caddis pupae, nymph wing cases and shucks. Some tyers use only one of the three strands on their flies. It can be cut and used as a sparkle dubbing. You can fray this yarn and use it for wings or parachute posts. This yarn was made locally famous by Eddy George, inventor of the George Nymph. Eddy used the white yarn for the wing case on his fly.
