This mayfly pattern was created by Fran Betters, a notable Adirondack, New York fly tyer and fly shop owner. Like most Wulff style dry flies, it mimics a mayfly and is tied with abundant hackle and white wings. This fly is a good representation of many mayflies found in our streams.
