This fly has everything going for it. First and foremost, it is one of many Pheasant Tail patterns, our best selling nymph for almost 20 years. The combination of pheasant tail fibers and peacock herl has always attracted trout. It looks real, like many aquatic nymphs found in our waters. The copper rib and gold bead gives the fly some weight and a little flash. The pear flash on the shell back give this fly even more attractiveness trout can’t ignore.   They add weight too, so these flies get down in the feeding zone we often have when trout are hugging the bottom. This is a great trout fly from the Pheasant Tail family.
