The Zug Bug was tied to resemble a caddis fly by Cliff Zug in the 1930’s. It has remained a very popular and productive fly pattern, used all over the United States. This is the bead head version that was created later when beads became popular. We have been selling this pattern in our shop for almost 20 years. It is a main staple in most eastern fly shops as well as some in the west.
