The Bully Bug, in the color Chartreuse, is a very effective fly fishing fly, for catching large bluegill. It drives those big bulls crazy! First, this fly is weighted and it sinks to the levels where these fish feed. The weight is tied in toward the back of the fly. When you twitch it, the bug’s head moves downward. That movement has been provem to be critical, to cause bream to strike. Any fly fisherman, who seeks bluegill, shellcrackers or other similar panfish, should have Bully Bugs in their fly box.
