The Clouser Crayfish, was designed and first used by fly fishing guide Bob Clouser, when fly fishing for smallmouth bass. This fly has become a very popular pattern for stream anglers fishing for many species, including trout. The fly is intended to be fished weighted, and drifting with the current, representing a dislodged and injured or dead crayfish. This pattern features a light turkey back. It is tied in sizes #8 and #10.
