They are three tools in one. You have the clamp, with one smooth blade and a striated second blade for less slippage and superior gripping. That comes in hand when you are clamping split shot on your tippet. The scissor has serrated blades, so your tippet won’t slip out when you are trying to cut it. The built in screwdriver may be used to tighten screws or remove spools from reels.
