Eyes give flies a realistic appearance while in some cases adding weight. Bead Chain Eyes are great when tying nymphs that appear natural while adding weight to sink the nymph or streamer, without adding too much and making the fly hard to cast. Dumbbell eyes add more weight than bead chain, and come in a larger variety of colors. Stick on eyes are used on poppers and streamers for realism. Solid plastic eyes are perfect for making poppers.
