The March Brown Dry Fly represents a very common mayfly that hatches in the Spring. In the Smoky Mountains, we see them in March or April in most years. During those months, and in later months to the North, the March Brown is a very important fly to have in your box if you encounter a hatch. It is also a good searching pattern during the Spring. This is an important fly.
