Micro Spawn has been used effectively, by steelhead and salmon fly fishermen for years. It simulates a group of fish eggs that have become dislodged from the gravel and drifting down a stream. Many anglers have found that this fly also works when trout are spawning. Stocked trout are often eager to sample a drifting Micro Spawn. This is a good fly to own if you are fly fishing in stocked trout streams or in the case of this color, brown trout are spawning.
