The Murdich Mini Minnow is a small version of the original, and is a great fly fishing fly, to be used for saltwater and freshwater gamefish. It’s great for redfish and speckled trout found in the ocean or bays. This is an excellent fly when used in freshwater for all gamefish. The Mini version is tied on a #4 saltwater hook, allowing it to be light enough to cast with lighter fly rods, even 6 weights. Of course, copper is  great color to use, when imitating baitfish.
