The Nautilus CCF-X2 fly fishing reels are the newest addition to the company and they feature an award winning dual action drag system. This drag system has twice the drag strength (20lbs+) and twice the smoothness and half the startup inertia as the prior CCF.

We sell the CFF-X2 in two sizes, the 6/8 and the 8/10. They are made for fighting big fish. The drag is sealed using Nautilus’ proprietary Activeseal technology. The smoothness is made possible using hybrid ceramic bearings and TPX bushings. An oversized drag knob adjusts the smoothest drag from zero to max in 6 full turns with their Infinaljust system.

The 6/8 is a 4-inch large arbor reel. For more line pick up, the larger 8/10 works great with an 8 weight line, with almost 12 inches of pickup with a turn of the handle.
