The Orvis Hydros Superfine Trout fly line is made for today’s lightweight trout rods. The Superfine is only available as a Weight Forward (WF) fly line.

The Superfine gives you the ability to make precision accurate technical casts, and delicate presentations. This is essential when fishing for trout in gin clear water, on spring creeks and mountain streams. It is also intended for tailwater trout fishing situations, where spooky trout require stealth. The head color is “Dark Olive" with a Willow colored line, another benefit for fishing clear water, when stealth is important.

The Orvis Hydros Superfine is designed to make long casts, while still making delicate presentations, due to it’s longer forward taper.

This fly line is slick, thanks to Orvis’ IS Integrated Slickness additive, that is integrated throughout the PVC layer. You will get maximum distance, performance and durability.

The Superfine includes all of Orvis’ high end technical advances, such as IS Integrated Slickness, the Enhanced Welded Loop and the Orvis Line ID.
