Orvis's newly redesigned Superfine Glass fly rod is a dream come true for fly fishing enthusiasts who crave a classic full-flex action. Featuring a blank built using S-2 fiberglass, which was developed for military and ballistic applications, this rod possesses a lighter swing weight and crisper feel than the previous generation of Superfine Glass, and is (almost) impossible to break by bending. Rod models 2-5 wt are built with a black type III anodized aluminum reel seat and burled hardwood insert while the 6 & 8 wt models have saltwater-ready all anodized aluminum reel seats. All models feature a beautiful sanded blank with double-foot snake guides.
