The Orvis Ultralight Vest, coordinates well with the company’s concept of the Ultralight Wading System for fly fishermen. This new vest is modern and sleek. The low-profile design keeps your load closer to the body. The Slimmer design reduces the “layered bulk” found in most fly fishing vests. It is made from lightweight material treated with DWR, so it dries faster and breathes better. You will find strategically integrated mesh for better ventilation and form-fitting comfort.

The Orvis Lightweight Vest has eleven pockets, 6 exterior, 4 interior and one on the back. There are four large vertical chest pockets for fly boxes and two feature internal stretch mesh used as organization pockets. Two external pockets are located higher on the shoulder to hold leaders, tippet and other accessories. Two interior vertical chest pockets hold valuables and one has a key clip. Lower interior stretch mesh pockets forms to your load.

An adjustable sliding clip closure allows you to adjust the vest vertically to the most comfortable position. Two multi-function Velcro fly patches hide a port for a zinger and attached tools. A nipper can be nested under the patch for easy access while kept out of the way when fishing. Forceps may be slid up from the outside and underneath the Velcro for easy access.

This vest also features two elastic cords on the exterior of the chest pockets for adding accessories. A Soft poly/spandex blend lined foam collar keep you comfortable all day. There is an internal webbing loop for hanging the vest when not used. A large rear zippered pocket holds your lunch and a light rain jacket. The Tri-Ring net hold is located on the upper back.
