The Renzetti HT108 is a long bobbin, used for tying larger flies but it has a fine diameter 3/32” tube with a Teflon liner. Renzetti Ruby Tip bobbins have a very smooth opening, to help keep your thread from fraying, while the inserted Teflon liner in the tube allows for smooth flow of your thread. Using Renzetti’s unique tapered protrusions, your thread spool is held at the perfect tension, and allows you to wind in more thread or let more out smoothly.

This bobbin is referred to as a saltwater bobbin, but it is perfect for tying larger warmwater flies as well, with thinner diameter threads, up to 210 denier or 3/0.
