Rio’s Euro Nymph Shorty fly line is an ultra-thin line designed for Euro Nymphing.  It is short, only 20 feet (6.1m), so you can spool your reel with a regular weight forward 2 or 3 weight fly line and then attach the Shorty line to the front for deep tactical nymphing.  If you find yourself in the situation where you want to cast a dry fly you remove the Shorty line and attach a regular leader.

This line features welded loops on both end for quick attachment to the fly line.  It also utilizes Extreme Slickness technology, a chemistry formulation that results in an ultra- slick line with dirt-repelling properties.

Works best on rods weights #2 through #5.
