Rio’s Fluoroflex Bonefish/Saltwater leaders are specifically designed for saltwater fly fishing, where fluorocarbon is essential, and casting large flies, long distances in the wind, is common.

Rio Fluoroflex is made from 100% pure fluorocarbon. This material is close to the reflective index of water, thereby making it almost invisible to fish. The hard finish of the leader also offers high abrasion resistance and excellent knot strength.

The Rio Bonefish/Saltwater taper features a long butt section for better turnover of flies in the wind. A perfection loop is tied into the butt section for quick and easy loop-to-loop rigging.

Available in 9’ lengths in 8, 10, 12 and 16 pound test.
