Powerflex Plus is Rio’s newest and the world’s strongest tapered leaders. The tensile strength of Powerflex Plus is up to 20% stronger than regular leaders.

This is accomplished by a technical modification of the nylon copolymer formulation, that increases the strength to diameter ratio. This modification does not compromise the knot strength or suppleness of the material.

Powerflex Plus is a soft material extruded as a high performance taper, that is perfect for dry flies, soft hackles, nymph/Indicator rigs and streamers. Each leader has a perfection loop tied at the end of the butt section.

Available in 7 ½ to 9 foot lengths, in sizes 7X through 0X.

The leader is clear, not tinted.
