The Sage Trout LL family of fly rods have a delicate touch and a medium action, perfect for most trout fly fishing situations. This is Sage’s best dry fly rod. It is perfected for wade fishing, closer casts, small flies and light tippets.

The tip is relatively supple, to maximize light tippet protection while giving way to a smooth, easily-loading mid-section, that increases feel and feedback throughout the casting stroke. The Trout LL is an angler’s best friend when the hatch is on.

Inspired from historic Sage rods of the past, the Trout LL leans toward tradition with a classic appearance and a smooth casting taper. However, modern performance features in accuracy and loop control have been added using Konnetic HD blank material.

These rods are available in classic dry fly line weights and lengths of 7’ 9” through 9’. Beautiful wood inserts and premium components add an elegant touch to these high performance rods.
