The Scientific Anglers Sonar Titan Intermediate/Sink 3/Sink 5 Fly Line will change the way you fly fish with streamers forever. Scientific Anglers took one of their most popular tapers, the Titan, and drenched it in various mixtures of tungsten powder, to create a triple-density sinking fly line. It is a fully tapered sinking fly line, so it casts like a floating line. “No more chucking and ducking.”

The Sonar Titan has three different sink rates built in. The running line is an intermediate that sinks at 1.25 inches per second (ips). The rear taper is a Sink 3, sinking at a rate of 2.5 to 3.5 ips, depending on the line weight. The forward head is a Sink 5, dropping in the water at 4.5 to 6.0 ips. This triple density design provides the straight-line connection to your fly.

The Sonar Titan loads quickly and casts large flies to far targets. It has excellent turnover due to the powerful and and short front taper. This line is textured to reduce friction for making longer casts and easier pick-up, while increasing durability.

The core is braided multifilament made for cold to medium water temperatures.
