Semperfli 6 Finger Fly Tying Scissors are designed for tiers who prefer to keep their scissors in their hand while tying flies. When doing this, the scissors are immediately available to make cuts without having to lay them down or pick them up.

These are spring scissors, that open themselves after cutting. Simply slip the metal loop over your middle finger and the scissors will be held in your hand without grasping the handles. The scissors are slim, and take up less space in your palm. On my hand, only the small serrated blades stick out slightly. They will not impede your fly tying while holding them.

Due to the small size and being held in place with your finger, you can use other tools with the same hand. I bought a pair, tied some flies and found I could still use hair scissors or a whip finisher with the same hand while holding these scissors.
