Semperfli Classic Waxed Thread in the size 8/0 is a good choice for tying smaller flies, including nymphs, dry flies and midges. It is designed to lay flatter and be easier to split for making dubbing loops than other threads while also being exceptionally strong. The breaking strength of this thread is 26.6 ounces. The thread is 105 denier. Semperfli chose an excellent wax content of the thread which was tested and evaluated by both Paul Procter and Hans Van Klinken.
