A stimulator in the color orange, is a very effective fly fishing dry fly, that mimics stoneflies and caddis. The color orange is especially useful during the Fall. This attractor pattern can and will work in any water where caddis or stoneflies are present. It is heavily hackled to keep it floating all day in all kinds of water, and you can cover a lot of different fishing scenarios by having plenty of sizes and colors of this fly. In the Smokies, use an Orange size #12 or #14 in the fall to take advantage of those fish that are looking for a big orange October Caddis.
