Sulphur Mayflies are abundant in many freestone streams and tailwaters in the Eastern United States. Some anglers look forward to this hatch more than any other in the Smoky Mountains, and also on the Clinch and South Holston tailwaters. This is a great parachute pattern for those of us that might have a tough time seeing the fly otherwise. This dry fly is suitable for fishing a variety of different types of water, either as a searching pattern or for picking off risers.
