The Tequeely is one of the best smallmouth bass fly fishing streamers I have ever used. I don’t know why it works so well, but it does. I normally use this fly when drifting rivers for smallies. Once, I had fish taking this fly, when they were not interested in anything else. The Tequeely seems to work best in rivers, just drifting with the current. The yellow rubber legs and yellow and black marabou tail, undulate with the current. This flies “tears up” smallmouth bass. I do not fly fish in a smallmouth bass river without some of these in my box.
