The Tiemco TMC 200 is a very popular, humped shape hook with a straight eye, used to tie nymphs and some large dry flies, including Stimulators.  The hook is made using standard wire, which is usually used for nymphs only. That is not the case with the 200R as fly tyers have adapted to using this hook for dry flies as long as they are tied using high floating materials. They are forged. Tiemco hooks are made from Japanese steel, in Japan. They are chemically sharpened.
