The Tiemco TMC 2488H is a heavier stronger alternative to the 2488 midge and scud hook. This hook is short with a wide gap and a curved shank. It features a straight eye and it is made using heavy wire.  Tiemco hooks are made from Japanese steel and forged for strength, in Japan. They are chemically sharpened.
