The Tungsten Jig Red Butt is a killer nymph used when fly fishing for trout. The tungsten head gives this fly plenty of weight, so it can be used as an anchor fly on a Czech nymph rig. The hook rides up when the fly is suspended, to lessen the chance for snagging on the stream bed or debris. This fly is tied in sizes #12 through #16.
