Wapsi Ultra Chenille Micro is dense, and used to wrap tight bodies and woven bodies on nymphs while also being the favorite material to tie Green Weenies. Micro is quite a bit smaller in diameter than the standard size.

Green and Pink Weenies are two of the best trout flies to use in the Smokies, during the Summer months. Other colors are used for Weenies, including red, which was Lefty’s favorite. Lefty was in the shop one day and told me about red and the color’s attraction to trout. I took him to the airport later that day to fly home. He called the shop from home the next day and ordered red Ultra Chenille Micro. Joe Humphreys told me the same thing, try red. Approximately 15 feet per package.
