The Yellow Sallie Snowshoe is a dry fly used for fly fishing when targeting trout, during the warm months. The fly mimics the Yellow Sally Stonefly well. The wing is tied using snowshoe rabbit feet fur, known for it’s very good floating qualities. The body is ribbed and the red tag near the hook bend simulates an egg sac. The fly is tied parachute style. Available in size #12.
