Semperfli Wire in the size Medium .3 mm is used to make segmented bodies or for ribbing on larger nymphs. Medium .3 mm wire works well for wired stonefly patterns. The diameter in inches is .0128”, which is slightly smaller than Ultra Wire Medium. Semperfli wire is soft and easy to wrap on hook shanks and dubbed bodies. This wire is made specifically for tying flies. The coating is non-tarnishing and will not rust.
