The blank is constructed using a proprietary blend of high-modulus/high- strain SCIV carbon and premium-quality SCII carbon using Integrated Poly Curve (IPC) mandrel tooling; which provides improved energy transfer, increased strength, and extremely efficient rod recovery. To further improve blank strength and durability, St. Croix utilizes their Fortified Resin System and Reinforced Slim Profile Ferrule design, cutting weight and boosting blank strength by over 33%!
